Our “Over a Cup of Coffee” guests today are Mark Pfetzer and Jarrod Slindee. As law enforcement officers with the San Juan County Sheriff’s Office, Mark and Jarrod spend their days protecting our citizens, however, their non-profit organization, Guardian Initiatives, assists first responders with their mental health needs.
To bring awareness to the mental health needs of first responders, Mark and Jarrod will be rowing across the Atlantic Ocean in the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge, with their third rowing partner, Mike Houge. Follow them to learn more about their initiative and root them on in December as they embark on their 3000-mile rowing journey.
